Penpal tags and bookmarks

For my first project I decided to make a tag which contain a small bookmark.

First, I used two dies from the Papercraft Society kit 14. I die cut the base into Kraft cardstock and the smaller one into my paper from the Kit. After the photo, I decided to change the paper I used on the right tag and used the same as the pocket

I matted and layered them.

After that, I used two dies from the kit Tonic Studio 32 to make my front pocket. I also fussy cut the little sentiment from my Penpal kit. I glued the pattern paper onto the Kraft pocket and glued it on the base of the tag. I put foam pads behind my sentiment and glued it on the pocket.

Then, for the little bookmark, I fussy cut the mailbox from the kit and die cut a little hole.

Finally I put twines on the two holes and I added Nuvo Drops on my tag.

For my second project, I cut a 3″ x 7″ / 7.5 cm x 17.5 cm rectangle into black cardstock. I cut an other smaller rectangle into one of my paper from the kit ( 2 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ / 7 cm x 17 cm). I rounded their corners.

With my Silhouette Portrait 3, I cut two stamped squares (2″ x 2″ / 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm) to go with the mail theme.

I also cut two little envelopes. It’s a super easy shape, you can do it with a craft knife if you prefer. It’s just a little rectangle with a triangle on top. And don’t forget to cut the V shape inside the envelope, it will allow you to add easily a little paper or note inside. Personally, I cut two little rectangles into an other colored pattern paper from the kit to fit inside them.
