Hi everyone
Today, I share with you this shaker card I made for Thoughtfulstudio with their beautiful digital paper kit Tessa’s Changing Seasons. (You can use the code THOUGHTFULLOUNON for a 15% off sitewide).
First, I took a 5″ 1/4 x 8″3/4 (13.5 cm x 22.2 cm) piece of red cardstock. I folded it at 5″1/4. So my card is 5″1/4 x 5″1/4 (13.5 cm) with a 3″5 x 5″ 1/4 (13.5cm x 8.8cm) front panel.

Inside the card I matted and layered a 5″ x 5″ (13cm) square cut into one of the kit’s pattern paper.
I also added a thin stripe of red cardstock at the bottom.

For the front of the card, I cut stripes of different pattern papers from the kit and I glued them on my panel.

For the shaker part, I used my Silhouette Portrait 3 to cut the leave. I cut the front into the same red cardstock and I glued acetate behind. I cut the plain leave into an other pattern paper. I added foams on the edges of the leave. I used confettis, sequins and images from the kit to fill the shaker. I glued the two parts of the shaker together and glued it on my front panel.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
