I am joining the Hero Arts Global Team !

Hello everyone !

Today, we are introducing the new Hero Arts Global Team ! I am so happy and excited to be joining this amazing team. Thank you again Libby and Hero Arts for this opportunity!

For this occasion and to help you meet all the members of the Global Team, we are organizing a blog hop showcasing this month’s Hero Arts new release : the My Monthly Hero Kit January 2023 and its add-ons.

If you are hopping you should come from the super talented Michelle’s blog ! I am closing this hop but if you caught it partway through, go to Hero Arts blog after me, to learn more about the Global Team members.

We will giveaway a $50 gift card to the Hero Arts website, drawn from among all the comments left across the blog hop. Please comment by Sunday, February 5 at 11:59pm PT.

For my first project, I made a shaker card using the Love and Florals Fancy Dies, the Heart-Shaped Daisies Bold Prints rubber stamp and the sequins from the My Monthly Hero Kit January 2023

First, I die cut the flowers from the Hero Arts Love and Florals Fancy Dies twice onto marker-friendly cardstock. I colored them with my Copics markers. I used R59 R29 R24 R22 R20 for the reds, G28 YG67 YG63 YG25 YG03 YG01 for the green and C5 C3 C1 for the white.

After that, I cut a stitched square into pale green cardstock and I stamped my Heart-Shaped Daisies Bold Prints on it with a darker green inkpad. I cut the L-O-V-E letters from the Love and Florals Fancy Dies on it.

I cut two squares with the same die : one onto bold green cardstock and one onto acetate. I also cut two other bigger squares, one with a stitched die and the other with my guillotine and I rounded the corners.

I assembled all the parts : I glued my flowers on my Love panel and I glued acetate behind it. I used foams for the shaker part. I used the sequins from My Monthly Hero Kit January 2023 to fill it and closed it with my bold green square.

Finally, I matted and layered the shaker part with the two other squares.

For my second card, I used various elements from the My Monthly Hero Kit January 2023 and the Mini Hearts Bold Prints rubber stamp to make a cleaner design card.

First, I used the adorable enveloppe die and the Azalea and Peony cardstocks from the kit. I cut it 6 times onto the Azaela cardstock and 6 times onto the Peony one. I put three enveloppes of each color aside and fussy cut the letters parts of the other six. I also die cut 6 little hearts with the leftovers of the enveloppe I just fussy cut.

I assembled the parts of my enveloppes and glued them together. I also used another small die from the kit to cut my little hearts. I stamped one of the sentiments onto Peony cardstock with a pink inkpad and I cut it with the stripe die from the Box of Chocolates Fancy Dies. I cut three other stripes onto the same cardstock and glued them under my banner to give it depth.

For the base of my card, I die cut two rectangles : one bigger on Azalea cardstock and one smaller onto white cardstock. I stamped the Mini Hearts Bold Prints on the white rectangle with the same pink inkpad I used for my sentiment. I matted and layered my rectangles.

Finally, I glued my enveloppe with foam pads on the base of my card and I glued my sentiment.

Et voilĂ  !
