Hello everyone !
It’s time for our monthly hop blog called the Squirrels Stash bash.
Our main concept is simple : we have to make a project with supplies we don’t use enough. Each month we have a theme and a technique, sketch or type of supply to use to make our project.
This month the theme was Squirrels and Rainbow.
So welcome to the new hoppers and for my regular viewers, thank you for stopping by today!
For this month I had the perfect squirrel stamp set from Clearly Besotted that I never had the chance to use before and it was a great occasion for using some of my patterned papers I have in my stash and my Silhouette Portrait 3.
First, I used my Silhouette Portrait 3 to cut my rainbow into various patterned papers. I glued them on a piece of kraft cardstock and used my stitched die to cut a square.
After that, I cut my sentiment into kraft cardstock and patterned papers with my Silhouette Portrait 3. I also used my square stitched die into pink patterned paper and cut the top with my Sunny Studio – Slimline Nature Borders Craft Dies.
I glued the pink part on the kraft square. I stamped leaves, acorns and small butterflies from the squirrel stamp set on it with my LDRS Iced Tea inkpad. Then, I added drops with my Nuvo Drops Crystal Pink orchid, Dark Walnut and Dirty Bronze.
Finally, I stamped my little squirrels, colored them with my markers and fussy cut them. I glued them on my card with foam pads.
Et voilà !
May the craft be with you !
